(Published in The Norman Transcript February 18, 25, March 3, 2016, 3t) NOTICE OF SALE OF BONDS In accordance with Article X, Section 9(C) of the Constitution of the State of Oklahoma and Title 62, Oklahoma Statutes 2011, Sections 353 and 354, notice is hereby given that the Noble Emergency Medical Service District, City of Noble, Oklahoma, will receive sealed bids on the 10th day of March, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., central time, at City Hall, City of Noble, Oklahoma located at 304 S. Main, Noble, Oklahoma, for the sale of $445,000 General Obligation Limited Tax Bonds, Series 2016 of said District, which Bonds will mature as follows: $70,000 on May 1, 2019; $70,000 on May 1, 2020; $75,000 on May 1, 2021; $75,000 on May 1, 2022; $75,000 on May 1, 2023; and the last installment shall be $80,000 on May 1, 2024. The Board of Directors intends to meet at 6:30 p.m. at said location and date to consider and take action on the bids. Said Bonds shall be sold to the bidder bidding the lowest rate of interest the Bonds shall bear, and agreeing to pay par and accrued interest for the Bonds. The lowest rate of interest will be determined by doubling the semi- annual interest rate necessary to discount the debt service on the Bonds to the price bid for the Bonds. The date from which the annual true interest rate will be calculated is April 1, 2016. Each bidder shall submit with his bid a sum in cash, cashier’s or certified check, or electronic (wire) transfer payable to the Treasurer of the Noble Emergency Medical Service District equal to two percent (2%) of the amount of his bid.
