(Published in The Norman Transcript February 24, March 2, 2016, 2t) Notice is hereby given that the Central Oklahoma Master Conservancy District (COMCD), hereinafter called the Owner will receive sealed bids from prequalified bidders at the Central Oklahoma Master Conservancy District Office, located at 12500 Alameda Dr., Norman, Oklahoma, until 3:00 pm on the 17th day of March, 2016, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened. Bids shall remain valid for 60 days from bid opening. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours prior to the Bid Opening will be returned. Central Oklahoma Master Conservancy District (COMCD) Lake Thunderbird Spillway Erosion Repair Brief Project Description: Lake Thunderbird Spillway Erosion Repair All work shall be performed and all construction and material used and furnished shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Cabbiness Engineering, LLC , 333 12th Avenue SE, Suite 200, Norman, Oklahoma 73071, Telephone (405) 310-6435. The Notice to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Statutory Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following: 1. Central Oklahoma Master Conservancy District (COMCD), 12500 Alameda Dr., Norman, Oklahoma 2. Cabbiness Engineering, LLC, 333 12th Avenue SE, Suite 200, Norman, Oklahoma, 73071 Phone (405) 310-6435, FAX (405) 310-6495 A complete set of Plans and Specifications for prospective bidders may be obtained at Cabbiness Engineerings office only, upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $25.00 for a half sized set of bid documents or upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $45.00 for a full sized set of bid documents. No partial sets of bid documents will be made available. Bids will only be accepted from bidders that are prequalified for this contract and have purchased a complete set of plans and specs. Bidder prequalification forms are included in the Bidding Documents or prospective bidders may obtain prequalification forms from the engineer, Cabbiness Engineering, LLC as above referenced. Prospective bidders shall submit all necessary information for consideration as a prequalified bidder to Cabbiness Engineering, LLC no later than at the conclusion of the mandatory pre-bid conference. Each bidder shall accompany his original bid with a certified or Cashier's Check on a solvent bank located in Oklahoma or a Bidder's Bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount bid, and the same will be retained by owner until the successful bidder has entered into a written contract with the Owner and a satisfactory performance bond has been furnished. The bid deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon the execution of the Contract and required bonds. Each bidder shall accompany his bid with a sworn statement in writing that the Bidder has not directly or indirectly entered into an agreement, expressed or implied, with any other bidder concerning the price or amount of such bid or any bids, the limiting of the bids or bidders, the paying to anyone any money for promotion expenses, the parceling or farming out to any bidder or bidders or other persons of any part of the contract or any part of the subject matter of the bid or of the profits thereof. Construction, Maintenance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Engineer, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract, and the bidder shall state in the proposal the name and address of the Surety or Sureties who will issue this bond in case the contract is awarded to him. The Maintenance Bond required will guarantee the repair of all damage due to improper materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year after the acceptance of the work by the Owner. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for this project on site located at Lake Thunderbird Spillway, site can be accessed from Highway 9, at 10:00 am on the 10th day of March, 2016, in Norman, Oklahoma. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional bids shall not be accepted.
