FA 2016-109 NOTICE OF HEARING APPLICATION FOR TERMINATION OF PARENTAL RIGHTS OF PUTATIVE FATHER TO: DANIEL LAMAR DREW, OR ANY POSSIBLE UNKNOWN FATHER OF BABY GIRL SKILES YOU ARE HEREBY notified that an Application for Termination of Parental Rights of Putative Father has been filed in the District Court of Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, on the 1st day of November, 2016, for the adoption of BABY GIRL SKILES, born October 24, 2016, of whom you are alleged to be the putative father. A hearing on said Application is set for the 12th day of December, 2016, at 9:15 oclock a.m. at the Cleveland County District Courthouse, 200 S. Peters Avenue, Norman, Oklahoma, in front of Judge STEPHEN W. BONNER. Said Application alleges that your parental rights to the minor child should be terminated for the reason that you, the alleged putative father, have refused, failed, or neglected to pay for any voluntary support, and that you have not exercised any parental rights or duties or indicated any interest in the child, nor have you supported the birth mother to the best of your ability during her pregnancy. No other persons was named as the father on the birth certificate of said child. Neither said putative father nor natural mother is Native American. Therefore, the Indian Child Welfare Act of the United States of America and the State of Oklahoma need not be complied with. It would be in the best interest of the child if the parental rights of DANIEL LAMAR DREW, or any unknown putative father, are terminated and that the adoption be allowed to proceed. YOU ARE THEREFORE NOTIFIED THAT THE COURT WILL HEAR EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF AND IN OPPOSITION TO THE GRANTING OF THE APPLICATION AT THE TIME AND PLACE ABOVE SHOWN, WHERE YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE PRESENT AND AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD AT SAID TIME AND PLACE, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE ADOPTION OF SAID CHILD. YOUR FAILURE TO APPEAR AT SAID HEARING SHALL CONSTITUTE A DENIAL OF YOUR INTEREST IN THE CHILD, WHICH DENIAL MAY RESULT, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE TO YOU OF THIS PROCEEDING OR ANY SUBSEQUENT PROCEEDINGS, IN SAID CHILDS ADOPTION WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT, HEREBY ULTIMATELY TERMINATING YOUR PARENTAL RIGHTS TO SAID CHILD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN ATTORNEY REPRESENT YOU AT SAID HEARING BUT CANNOT AFFORD ONE, AN ATTORNEY WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOU. Signed and dated this 15th day of November, 2016. S/ Stephen W.
