(Published in The Norman Transcript October 11, 18, 2016, 2t) PUBLIC NOTICE Request for Proposal Nuisance Abatement Services for 11-15-2016 to 11-14-2017 The Town of Slaughterville is soliciting proposals for: Trash Removal and Nuisance Abatement Services for the removal of trash, mowing weeds, securing unsecured buildings, and removal of dilapidated buildings for the contract year 11-15-2016 to 11-14-2017. Correspondence, questions or requests for copies of the Request for Proposal and Information Package should be directed to the Town of Slaughterville, Attn. Marsha Blair, 10701 US 77, Lexington, Oklahoma 73051, (405) 872-3000. A brief, mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on November 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Slaughterville Town Hall, 10701 US 77, Slaughterville, Oklahoma. Contract Specifications will be distributed at that time and are available at Town Hall. The town will not accept proposals from any contractor who does not attend this meeting. A deadline for making proposals to the Town of Slaughterville at 10701 US 77, Lexington, Oklahoma 73051, 12:00 p.m., November 10, 2016 and the bid opening will occur at the same place at 12:05 p.m., November 10, 2016. The contract will be awarded at the regularly scheduled meeting held by the board of trustees on November 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
