(Published in The Norman Transcript September 2, 6, 12, 19, 2016, 4t) LEGAL NOTICE Native Sand, LLC, 3294 South Ladd Avenue, Washington, Oklahoma, 73093, has submitted a permit application to the Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) to mine Sand through the surface mining method on portions of the following parcels of land: E/2 and Government Lots 1 & 2 of NW/4 of Section 7, all in Township 6N, Range 1 West, Cleveland County, Oklahoma The total permit area, containing 5 acres, is located in the Purcell, Oklahoma U.S.G.S. quadrangle map. The permit site is located approximately 0.25 miles west of the town of Lexington and 0.5 miles south of State Highway 77. The Canadian River meanders through the western portions of the proposed permit area in a southerly direction. A copy of this complete permit application is available for public inspection and copying at the Cleveland County Courthouse in Norman, Oklahoma. Upon written request to the Oklahoma Department of Mines, information contained in the permit application may be inspected or copied at the Department of Mines. Any landowner or resident of any occupied dwelling, any public entity or public agency, or any party that may be adversely affected has the right to submit comments or object to the issuance of the permit in writing. An informal conference will be provided if specifically requested in writing.
