(Published in The Norman Transcript September 1, 8, 15, 2016, 3t) NOTICE OF SALE OF BONDS In accordance with Title 62, Oklahoma Statutes 2011, Section 354, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Moore, Oklahoma (the City), will receive sealed bids, facsimile bids, electronic (Parity®) bids or similar secure electronic bids on the 19th day of September, 2016, at 2:00 P.M., local time, at the City Hall, located at 301 North Broadway, Moore, Oklahoma, for the sale of $5,000,000 General Obligation Bonds of 2016B of said City, which Bonds will mature $450,000 on October 1, 2018 and $450,000 annually each year thereafter until paid, provided, however, that the final maturity shall be in the amount of $500,000. Said Bonds shall be awarded by the City, on the 19th day of September, 2016, at 6:30 P.M., local time at a meeting of the City Council held at City Hall, located at 301 North Broadway, Moore Oklahoma and shall be sold to the bidder bidding the lowest rate of interest the Bonds shall bear, and agreeing to pay par and accrued interest for the Bonds. Each bidder shall submit with bid a sum in cash, cashiers or certified check, electronic (wire) transfer or surety bond payable to the Treasurer of the City, equal to two percent (2%) of the amount of his bid.
