(Published in The Norman Transcript August 18, 2016, 1t) REQUEST FOR UTILITY EASEMENT CLOSURE NOTICE is hereby given that a proposed utility easement closure will be considered at a Public Hearing at the Planning Commission meeting on the 8th day of September, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Norman Municipal Building, 201 West Gray Street, Norman, Oklahoma. At that meeting, any and all persons may appear and protest or support the passage of said Ordinance. Any protest must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk prior to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016, in order to be reported to the Planning Commission. Any protests received after that deadline will be reported to the City Council. Please be advised that e-mail transmissions cannot be considered as legal protest or support. The utility easement closure is on property more particularly described as follows, to wit: A tract of land lying in the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Fourteen (14), Township Nine (9) North, Range Three (3) West of the Indian Meridian, Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the southwest corner of Lot 17A in N.R.H. MEDICAL PARK WEST SECTION 4, an Addition to the City of Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma; THENCE along the west line of said Lot 17A, the following Two (2) courses: 1. North 00º0000 West a distance of 128.35 feet; 2.North 23º3555 West a distance of 44.92 feet to the west corner of said Lot 17A, also being a point on the southerly right-of-way line of R.C. Luttrell Drive and a point on a curve; THENCE along said southerly and easterly right-of-way line of said R.C. Luttrell Drive, and the west line of Lot 17A, the following course: Northeasterly along a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 125.00 feet (said curve subtended by a chord which bears North 52º1132 East a distance of 44.67 feet) for an arc distance of 44.91 feet; THENCE South 48º0559 East a distance of 20.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and a point on a curve; THENCE Northeasterly along a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 145.00 feet (said curve subtended by a chord which bears North 37º5639 East a distance of 20.01 feet) for an arc distance of 20.02 feet; THENCE South 50º3354 East a distance of 45.19 feet; THENCE North 05º5303 West a distance of 18.60 feet; THENCE North 14º5345 West a distance of 53.44 feet to a point on a curve; THENCE Northeasterly along a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 145.00 feet (said curve subtended by a chord which bears North 09º2532 East a distance of 32.48 feet) for an arc distance of 32.55 feet; THENCE North 90º0000 East a distance of 1.68 feet; THENCE South 14º5345 East a distance of 83.79 feet; THENCE South 05º5303 East a distance of 34.95 feet; THENCE South 50º3354 East a distance of 4.44 feet; THENCE South 90º0000 West a distance of 31.49 feet; THENCE North 50º3354 West a distance of 46.12 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Said described tract of land contains an area of 2,604 square feet or 0.0598 acres, more or less. The bearing of South 89º1412 West as the south line of Block 2 as shown on the plat of N.R.H. MEDICAL PARK WEST SECTION 2 was used as the basis of bearing for this description. Said proposed utility easement closure will be brought up for hearing and final passage at a City Council meeting subsequent to the Planning Commission action and may be continued from time to time.
