PB-2013-107 COMBINED NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND NOTICE OF HEARING DETERMINING HEIRS AND DISTRIBUTION AND DISCHARGE TO: All persons interested in the Estate of Jose E. Casanova: You are hereby notified that on the 27 day of May, 2016, the Petitioner, Maritza Casanova, of 728 N. Norman Ave, Moore, OK 73160, filed in the District Court of Cleveland, a Petition for Summary Administration. The Petitioner has alleged that Jose E. Casanova, age 52, died on November 4th, 2012, domiciled in and residing at 728 n. Norman Ave, Moore, OK 73160, and that the total value of the decedents property in Oklahoma is $180,000.00. Attached to the Petition is an instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of the decedent. The Petitioner has asked that this Court admit the will to probate and order summary proceedings pursuant to 58 O.S. § 245, et seq, and that she be Personal Representative. The sole heirs and devisees of this estate are Matiza Casanova, widow, and Jose E. Casanova, Jr., both of Moore, OK. In an Order for Combined Notice entered herein, the Court found that it should dispense with the regular estate proceedings prescribed by law and order notice to creditors and issue an order for hearing upon the Petition for Summary Administration and Admission of Foreign Will to Probate, the final accounting and petition for determination of heirs, legatees and devisees and distribution. Pursuant to the Order for Combined Notice, all creditors having claims against Jose E. Casanova, deceased, are required to present the same, with a description of all security interest and other collateral, if any, held by each creditor with respect to such claim, to the Petitioner, Maritza Casanova, c/o James A. Slayton, 4808 N. Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118, on or before the 1st day of July, 2016, or the same will be forever barred. Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held on the 25 day of July, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. at the Cleveland County Courthouse, Norman, OK before Judge Steven Bonner. At the hearing the Court will decide whether to approve the Petition for Summary Administration and Admission of the Will to Probate and the final account and petition for determination of heirs, legatees and devisees and distribution of the Petitioner. The final account and petition for determination of heirs, legatees and devisees and distribution will be filed herein on or before the 10th day of July, 2016. You are hereby advised that you must file any objections to the Petition for Summary Administration and Admission of Will to Probate and the final account and petition for determination of heirs, legatees and devisees and distribution before the hearing and send a copy to the Petitioners attorney, James A. Slayton, 4808 N. Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118 or you will be deemed to have waived any objections. If you have no objections, you need not appear at the hearing or make any filings with the Court. If an objection is filed before the hearing, the Court will determine at the hearing whether the will attached to the petition shall be admitted to probate, whether summary proceedings are appropriate and, if so, whether the estate will be distributed and to whom the estate will be distributed. Respectfully Submitted, JAMES A. SLAYTON, P.C. s/ James A. Slayton, OBA #12168 4808 Classen Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73118 (405) 848-9898 Fax 840-4808 Email slaytonlaw@aol.com Attorney for Petitioner
