Box 914, Noble, Oklahoma 73068, has submitted a permit transfer application to The Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) to transfer permit number LE 1920 issued to Joseph Pellegrino for mining sand through the surface mining method on portions of the following parcels of land: Government Lots Five (5) and Six (6) of section 14, Township 7 North, Range 2 west of the I.M. Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The total permit area, containing 15.0 acres, is located in Cleveland County U.S.G.S. Washington Quadrangle map. From Main and Chestnut, downtown Noble Oklahoma 1.8 miles South to Cemetery Road. West 0.4 miles to Burkett Road. South 2.1 miles. South Canadian river meanders through the middle of proposed permit area, in a East-Southeasterly direction. A copy of the transfer documents and the issued permit referenced in the above are available for public inspection and copying at the Oklahoma Department of Mines, Oklahoma City, during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Upon written request to the Oklahoma Department of Mines, information contained in the permit application may be inspected or copied at the Department of Mines. Any landowner or resident of any occupied dwelling, any public entity or public agency, or any party that may be adversely effected has the right to submit comments or object to the issuance of the permit in writing. An informal conference will be provided if specifically requested in writing.
