(Published in The Norman Transcript April 22, 2016, 1t) REQUEST FOR PUD AMENDMENT NOTICE is hereby given that a proposed Ordinance will be considered at a Public Hearing at the Planning Commission meeting on the 12th day of May, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Norman Municipal Building, 201 West Gray Street, Norman, Oklahoma. At that meeting, any and all persons may appear and protest or support the passage of said Ordinance. Any protest must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk prior to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016, in order to be reported to the Planning Commission. Any protests received after that deadline will be reported to the City Council. Please be advised that e-mail transmissions cannot be considered as legal protest or support. The proposed Ordinance will amend the Planned Unit Development (PUD) established in Ordinance No. O-0910-17 to allow mining of dirt in the northwest area of FOUNDERS PARK ADDITION (this does not allow any work in the flood plain), to wit: A tract of land lying in the Southeast Quarter (S.E. 1/4) of Section 12, Township 9 North (T9N), Range 3 West (R3W), of the Indian Meridian (I.M.), and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the S.E. Corner of said S.E. 1/4; thence North 89º48’53” West along the South line of said S.E. 1/4 a distance of 2638.25 feet to the Southwest Corner of said S.E. 1/4; thence North 00º14’42” West along the West line of said S.E. ? a distance of 2614.63 feet to the Northwest Corner of said S.E. 1/4; thence South 89º51’31” East along the North line of said S.E. 1/4 a distance of 2626.47 feet to the Northeast Corner of said S.E. 1/4; thence South 00º30’10” East along the East line of said S.E. 1/4 a distance of 2616.75 feet to the Southeast Corner of said S.E. 1/4 and the Point of Beginning, less and except existing rights-of-way. Said tract contains 158.06 gross acres, more or less. Said proposed Ordinance will be brought up for hearing and final passage at a City Council meeting subsequent to the Planning Commission action on said proposed Ordinance and may be continued from time to time.
