(Published in The Norman Transcript April 21, 2016, 1t) Town of Slaughterville 10701 US 77, Lexington, OK 73051 (405) 872-3000 Fax: (405) 872-0330 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Slaughterville Planning and Zoning Commission at Slaughterville Town Hall located at 10701 US 77, Slaughterville, Oklahoma, at 7:00 p.m. on May 10, 2016. At that time, the Planning and Zoning Commission will consider an application submitted by David Neil Livingston Revocable Trust for a proposed zoning change for a tract of land from Agricultural Uses to Residential Uses. The property is located approximately one half mile west of 96th Street on the north side of Bryant Road in Slaughterville, Oklahoma. Legal Description: A part of the W/2 of the SE/4 of Section 16, T7N, R1W, I.M., Cleveland County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the SW Corner of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence N 89°39’45” E, on the South Line of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 326.78 feet to the SE Corner of the W/2 of the SW/4 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16, said point also being THE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence N 00°02’37” W, on the East line of the W/2 of the SW/4 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 658.76 feet to the NE Corner of the W/2 of the SW/4 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence S 89°41’45” W, on the North line of the W/2 of the SW/4 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 326.84 feet to the NW Corner of the W/2 of the SW/4 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16 and the West Line of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence N 00°02’55” W, on the West Line of the SE/4 of Section 16, a distance of 1976.86 feet to the NW Corner of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence N 89°47’57” E, on the North Line of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 1308.03 feet to the NE Corner of the W/2 of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence S 00°01’44” E, on the East line of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 1316.35 feet to the NE Corner of the E/2 of the E/2 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence S 89°43’53” W, on the North Line of the E/2 of the E/2 of the SW/4 of SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 326.90 feet to the NW Corner of the E/2 of the E/2 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence S 00°02’01” E, on the West Line of the E/2 of the E/2 of the SW/4 of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 692.88 feet; Thence S 89°39’45” W and parallel with the South Line of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 344.51 feet; Thence S 00°56’31” W, a distance of 624.01 feet to the South Line of the SE/4 of said Section 16; Thence S 89°39’45” W, on the South Line of the SE/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 298.43 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said described tract contains 2,580,618.293 Square feet or 59.243 Acres, more or less. The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for eleven (11) residential lots. The Slaughterville Planning and Zoning Commission will make a recommendation to the Town Board of Trustees and the Town Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing at Slaughterville Town Hall, located at 10701 US 77, Slaughterville, Oklahoma, at 7:00 p.m. on May 17, 2016 to consider the application for the proposed zoning change.
